What are Muralettes?
Muralettes are removable decals that make hand painted-looking scenes on your child’s walls quickly and easily. No fuss, no muss!
We know a lot of moms want to do something fabulous in their children’s rooms but just don’t have the time, money, or clear vision to whip it all together. As muralists, people often hire us to paint sweet vignettes rather than full-sized murals in their homes, which is an economical way to make the space feel decorated without overwhelming the room. Since we see a lot of moms with the same need we decided to bring this technique to you, so you can play “muralist” and get the same look - fast and without painting your walls.
How are these different from other decals I’ve seen?
Most decals are just silhouettes or computer-generated images with flat, one-dimensional color but no artistry. Ours are different because they’re scanned directly from our paintings, showing our brushstrokes and drawing, so they look like actual hand-painting on your wall. It’s like getting real mural painting without having to pay the big bucks!
What are they made of?
Muralettes are printed onto a removable-tack matte vinyl.

Remember how fun that was when you were six? This is just like that. The decals come in small, manageable pieces so you can arrange them any way you like.
Will they damage my wall if I take them off?
They shouldn’t, but every wall surface and every paint job is different, so there are no guarantees. You may need to do a little touch-up with your paint color if you don’t know the history of your walls or if they were improperly prepped when painted. In that case, it may be time to repaint them, anyway!
How long will it take me to put up my Muralette?
Not long! Most people take 30 minutes to an hour, but it can take as little as 15 minutes – it’s really up to you. Some people loooooove to take their own sweet time, some people just want to get it up there.
Are these reusable?
Yes and no. It depends partly on the condition of the surface you first stuck them onto. As with any sticker, the adhesive loses some of its tack when you move it from place to place, though we have had some success with it. You can try, but just keep in mind that it won’t be quite the same as the first time – nothing ever is!
What is your return policy?
We’ll honor returns for any reason for up to 30 days - so if the colors or sizes are wrong for your room, the decals start to peel (every wall is different and removable adhesive can curl a bit at the edges on certain walls, especially if the walls are shiny or bumpy), or your just don’t like them, let us know within 30 days and we’ll take them back!
